The Worker Orientation Module covers: the NDIS Code of Conduct, participant rights, abuse and neglect identification, working with diverse participants, communication and reporting. It takes about 90 minutes. Free to access via the NDIS Commission website. Every worker must complete it and provide a certificate of completion. Auditors check that every staff member has a current certificate on file. Re-completion is not currently required but best-practice is annual refresher.
