The NDIS Code of Conduct applies to every NDIS worker and provider, registered or not. The seven principles are: act with respect for individual rights to freedom of expression, self-determination and decision-making; respect privacy; provide supports in a safe and competent manner; act with integrity, honesty and transparency; promptly take steps to raise concerns about quality and safety; take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to violence, exploitation and abuse; take reasonable steps to prevent sexual misconduct. Every staff member must complete the free Worker Orientation Module and sign acknowledgement.
