The full answer
The Worker Orientation Module covers: the NDIS Code of Conduct, participant rights, abuse and neglect identification, working with diverse participants, and communication and reporting. It takes about 90 minutes. Free to access via the NDIS Commission website. Every worker must complete it and provide a certificate of completion before delivering any supports. Auditors check that every staff member has a current certificate on file. Re-completion is not currently required, but best-practice is an annual refresher. The module content is updated occasionally to reflect Code of Conduct and policy changes.
